Tharun along with some friends funds and runs Lifedream LifeSkills – a program (designed by IIMB profs) — three month full time boot camp (spoken english,computers n lifeskills) for women school dropouts above 18 yrs in slum/remote areas and get them jobs. Like a travelling circus they keep moving all around Bangalore. So far, its been Kadugodi, KR Puram,Kengeri etc. But check this statistic out! 360 students got jobs in the last 4 years. The course is FREE and in return students pay a environment Gurudakshina – they have to do their bit to help save our planet!
They don’t look at this as charity, as they just enjoy transforming students. Their vision to create 1 million Ullalu’s ( ullalu is a metaphor for the ullalu village they started in)

The potential is huge as every poor home has a dropout sitting and sulking.

We’d love for our youth in Whitefield to benefit from this program. Who can give them space for June, July and August 11:00 am to 4:00 pm to everyday so they can teach 30 students.
