NGT visits Varthur Lake
The National Green Tribunal (NGT) team visited Varthur Lake amid froth and stink this morning and were flabbergasted by the destruction brought about in the lake.
They questioned Minor Irrigation (MI) dept officials on the need to build a road within the lake to put in a pipeline for taking treated water to Kolar, at Varthur Kodi on Whitefield Main Road!
