Recycling Tetrapaks
Tetra Packs are considered useless for reuse and go straight to the landfill. These otherwise “rejected” landfill headed products actually can be put back to good use. A resident of Palm Meadows is however upcycling and making wonderful and wanted products, ranging from bins, baskets and bags to jewellery from tetra paks, milk sachets and fabric scraps. In addition, the people making them now have a new livelihood.
All in all, a win win situation!
What you need to do
All you do is just do a simple rinse as the pack gets empty, flatten it and store it (see attached instructions).
When you have a bundle, email whitefieldrising@yahoo.com for collection.
