There is a park tucked away in Nellurhalli, its existence unknown to many of us. Residents of Nellurahalli discovered it recently, saw its potential as a public park and with the help of Whitefield Rising volunteers started an amazing journey of fixing this abandoned park. Last Saturday, the crew started at 6 am and concluded the completion of phase-I fix by 10 am. Clearing wild bushes, spotting snakes, cleaning the footpath, clearing plastic garbage etc, were a few activities. Though this group was small in number, they all were excited about the meaningful morning. They look forward to the makeover of this park in the next few weeks.
