How to handle electronic or electrical waste if you are in Whitefield area?

If you are a company or office regularly generating significant quantity of e-waste, consider a direct tie-up with E-Parisaara.

E-Parisaraa Private Limited No.8-41/1,111 Stage, Peenya Industrial Estate, Bengaluru – 560 058 Ph : +91 80 28360902 / 32906684 Fax : +91 80 28363257 Email : recycle@ewasteindia.com

If you generate a small quantity of e-waste, consider Saahas and Samarthanam, who ultimately hand over e-waste to E-Parisaaraa. A tie-up with them will work if you give them dry waste like plastic and paper.

Certain editions of Farm Fresh, Farmers Market or Oota From Your Thota have had special stalls and bins by Samarthanam and Saahas. The response was lukewarm. It is a big effort on their part to come all the way from Koramangala, HSR or JP Nagar. When a future event in Whitefield will feature such collection at Forum Value or elsewhere, we will inform all through this platform.

If you have one-off need to dispose of significant quantity of e-waste, you can go to Saahas Koramangala collection facility. Or you may contact: manas@saahas.org or divya@saahas.org. Refer to Whitefield Rising
.
If you have one-off need to dispose of significant quantity of e-waste, plus clothes, boxes, wood, metal, plastic, notebooks, newspapers, etc, Samarthanam van is willing to come for collection. They don’t charge. They give a receipt. Contact Shiva Prasad at 94 80 80 95 96. Know more at http://www.parisara.org/service/dry-waste-collection/

If quantity is small, hand over cartridges, batteries, cables, chargers, keyboards, etc to a student or staff of Deens Academy. Saahas EMC2 e-waste pyramid bin is in Admin office. Outsiders are not allowed entry.

If you are coming to safety workshop on Saturday, bring e-waste to ECC. The Saahas EMC2 bin is outside Admin office. You can drop of at ECC on other days if you live close by. Refer to Whitefield Rising or ECC Road Residents Forum to the security.

Please note: Anything containing mercury, like CFL and mercury, will not be accepted by most of the aforesaid agencies or bins. Only Hasirudaala accepts these at a charge of Rs 10 per piece.

Please note: e-waste is not to be handed over to ragpickers or unorganised sector. Please ensure that everything ultimately goes to E-Parisara in Doddaballapur.
