Bridge Schools

Cities like Bangalore is inviting a huge influx of population from other states for constructing its buildings, sustaining its maintenance (carpenters, plumbers, security guards, supervisors) clearing its garbage, etc. The children come along and face a unique problem, ‘ There are no schools to go to’, since all government schools are Kannada medium and private schools run in English. None of these languages are known to them since they speak Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, Nepali, Telugu, etc. Most of these children had never been to school since their parents are hopping from one place to the other.
